Well today it is all of 84 degrees and not too muggy...that is what I like best...those "high mug" days that just drag you down and sap your energy are the pits! So what is your weather like? What do you do when it's hot? When it gets bad and even the A/C is having troubles...that is when I decide to go down to the basement and straighten up the old scrapbook room. lol

However, our A/C repairman gave us a tip this last month...he said to open up all the bedroom doors upstairs and open the vents completely. Then on the main level of the house to shut all the vents. The cold air is heavy and will naturally come down the stairs on it's own...and the hot air will flow upwards. Darn! Within 4 hours we could really tell the difference in the way our house felt!!

Here is what my sons like to make the best in hot weather...we call them Dalmatian Pops because of the white pudding with the chocolate "spots":

Dalmatian Pops (by Sharon Kay)

1 pkg Vanilla instant pudding mix (6 serving)
3 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Mix well. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze until firm.

Note: If you buy a 4 serving pudding mix, use 18 oz. milk and 2 1/2 ounces of sugar.

What are your summer plans? We basically just finished our big vacation a week ago when we spent 10 days in Florida at Walt Disney World parks!! I'm not complaining... it was one magical vacation!

Let's see...we have just signed up for a class at HMS Beagle Science Store for "Arduino Microcontrollers". Robotics, Electronics, and Communication DIY Robotics Lab: Bringing Robotics Home Affordable Controllers for Home Use. Does that just sound too cool or what? If you live in the Kansas City area...you must check out the HMS Beagle Store . So we'll be taking classes on the Arduino Microcontrollers.

We'll be meeting with the Metro Homeschool Robotics about every other week this summer to work on fundraising for the next school year. We compete in BEST and in FIRST Robotics competitions.

The boys will be signing up for summer bowling league and bowling with their dad. I think they will have a lot of fun! We will be spending a LOT of time at the bowling alley because they will get 100 free games of bowling per month!

I am planning on a trip to Oklahoma City to visit my friend Stacy and her family. I can't wait...she's my best friend and we never miss a day chatting online or on the phone together.

Happy 25th Anniversary to my husband!! Our family spent 10 days in Florida celebrating at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney, and at the beach! It was such a magical time that I really didn't want to leave. Disney sure knows how to help you celebrate an occasion!!

I HIGHLY recommend checking into the PhotoPass...the photographers take your pictures at the park and they appear in your account online. They add special effects to the pictures that are just flat out awesome! I can't wait to get some time to play with the frames and borders and get my CD ordered!
